Imagine the year of 2020 or more when humans are accompanied by robots at home or at office, robots designed to be used in everyday tasks. Looking at these inspirational concepts, we can have a brief image of how robots will look in the future.
Almost all concepts are designed in response to requests from both physical and software to user requirements. Even these concepts are just ideas with shapes, in the near future robots will increase the presence in workplaces and some of them could be even robots presented in this article.
A futuristic world is presented in this article where I made an overview of design concepts for service and social robots.
Robot assistants
Personal assistants can be found in different shapes and sizes, even like a software like Apple’s Siri. There is a growing demand for robotic assistants to help people in daily tasks. All of these robots have to be personalized to fit user needs, and the designers can find a source of inspiration in the concepts. In this section of the article I make an overview of robotic assistants designed to inspire, inspiration source for the next generation of plastic and metal assistants.
Robotic Toys
Children are hardly impressed with classic toys, they have great expectation including smart and strong toys. All of these robotic concepts can be included in both categories: smart and strong.
In this section is a list with interactive toy concepts designed to inspire the next generation of robotic toys.
Service Robots
A service robot is designed to be operational in different environments and add value in terms of technological and structural importance for humans. Typically, a service robot has to be used for different tasks including repetitive tasks, or in-house tasks like cleaning.
Below, I made an overview of service robotic concepts designed for the next generation of service robots.
