An inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor measure and report on velocity, orientation and gravitational forces in devices like smartphones, quadcopters, and any other projects such as robots designed to calculate the sensor’s absolute orientation.
Raspberry Pi is the most popular minicomputers in the DIY culture around the world and is necessary to add compatible accessories to it in order to build a large variety of projects. The BerryIMU is designed to simplify the work with IMU sensors. The board communicate with Pi over I2C interface.
