The smartphones become a powerful tool to control the robots wirelessly via Bluetooth. In this project, the designer uses the Bluetooth connection to control the robot with voice commands.
To operate the robot, you need an Android smartphone and the ‘BT Voice Control for Arduino‘ application available in Google Play.
The robot is a four wheeled platform controlled with an Arduino microcontroller and a Bluetooth module attached to the platform. The HC-05 is a cheap Bluetooth module that once connected to the Arduino board can send and receive information from Arduino to Android device.
