With an application and Bluetooth connectivity, your Android smartphone can serve as an operator console for a robot arm. This DIY arm is made out of plastic and features an end effector able to grasp objects.
The robot is built based on Arduino Mega platform and a Bluetooth module used to communicate wirelessly with your Android phone. All the robotic arm parts are printed using a 3D printer and can be customized with any color desired.
Instructables user subzoner3 posted all the steps needed to build this printed robot arm and a short movie that shows us the arm in action.
