This Robot Follows Your Arm Activity Using Myrobotlab and Myo Gesture Control Armband

This robot looks like any other wheeled robot, nothing new. But how is this controlled? Yes, this is something interesting.

Combining innovative technologies, we can offer a new concept to control robots. Something likes playing with your arm in the air without doing magic things.

In this video, you can see a wheeled robot controlled remotely using an open source Java framework and an armband capable of recognizing gestures and motion. The Myo armband captures data from the user’s arm muscles and sends it to a computer. The computer transforms the information into commands and sends these to the robot. Finally, the robot moves at the movement of the arm.
