Cloud Vision API uses the Google’s image recognition tools to understand better images – and this is now available for free trial. Why is this so useful in robotics? Well, it is clear that we need smart robots. Robots able to see and understand the content within the images. The service allows a robot to detect, for example, a face from an image. Of course, in the computer vision area there are no limits.
